today announced a new pricing structure and lower fees for its court filing services in California that will save customers money and
make pricing more predictable. Traditionally, many legal support vendors and court messenger services use a complicated pricing structure
with various surcharges including waiting time, fuel, mileage, and parking fees that often result in unpredictable and higher bills for
legal professionals. Rapid Legal once again is leading the industry by eliminating many of these additional charges and pricing
uncertainties through a new pricing structure that results in lower and more predictable fees. Here are some of the highlights of the
new pricing structure and fees:
- New Local Pricing: Rapid Legal has dramatically lowered the price for local court filings in 12 major California counties.
If the customer’s office submitting the filing is located in one of these counties, and the filing is to the central court located in the same
county, the customer will receive a discount on the order. This means that the base price for up to 20 pages will now be only $14.95 for a same
day filing, a savings over traditional court messenger and legal support services. Applicable counties include Alameda, Contra Costa,
Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, Santa Clara, San Diego, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo and Solano
- Lower Fees through Bundling: Rapid Legal has also increased its base court filing package from 7 to 20 pages and introduced
additional discounted packages for larger court filings.
- Elimination of Variable Area Surcharges: In lieu of variable area surcharges for court filings with rural and branch court
locations in California, there is now a flat $30 surcharge for such filings.
