David S. Nill » Founder, President and CEO
David is a 24 year veteran of the legal support services industry and is responsible for Rapid Legal's overall strategy and growth. David has provided industry leadership and has served as President of the California Association of Legal Support Professionals (CALSPro) and member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS). He has actively driven legislative change to improve the industry for the benefit of law firms and their customers. As the Legislative Chairman of CALSPro, David helped to pass legislation to facilitate access to gated communities, led creation of an EDD Independent Contractor Code specifically for Process Servers, and participated in the Fax Filing Pilot Project to form the foundation of rules regulating fax filing today. David has also served as the Technology Chairman for CALSPro and continues to participate in both state and national forums on the subject of eFiling.

Jeffrey Ellis » Vice President of Business Development
Jeff brings 26 years of strategic and operational experience to Rapid Legal and has served in senior management, business development, strategic alliances, operations, and sales positions for private and public technology companies. While Vice President of Business Development at Nsite, Jeff established and directed the company’s legal services initiative including working with CALSPro for electronic document delivery and eFiling. During his career, Jeff has developed key strategic partnerships and sales channels; played an instrumental role in raising over $60M in financing for private companies; and has successfully executed M&A strategies, including the sale of Nsite to Business Objects (now a SAP company) in late 2006. In addition to Nsite, Jeff has served in executive and management positions for various companies including Extensity; Mobileum, a wireless middleware provider that merged with UnwiredSoft (the merged company now called Roamware); and Tandem Computers. Jeff received a B.A. in International Studies and Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University.

William Davidheiser » Vice President of Engineering
Bill's record of success in strategizing and managing development of global and enterprise class projects reflects over 15 year's experience in software architecture and implementation. He has held executive engineering management positions for both public and private organizations. As Vice President of Engineering for Rainmaker Systems, Bill led the world-wide development and implementation of software solutions for customers including Symantec, IBM, Dell, HP, Red Hat, and Sun. As Chief Technical Officer, Metrics Corporation, he was the primary architect and manager of the development of web-based business intelligence platforms in the health care industry. And as Vice President of Engineering for Blue Pumpkin Software, Bill was responsible for releasing major new application suites and maintaining and upgrading them for over 1,000 customers (many in the Fortune-500) using both onshore and offshore teams. During his career, he has also led the development of solutions for companies including XP Systems and General Motors/Hughes Aircraft. Bill received a B.S. in Computer Science and Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona
